Billionaire business magnate, Elon Musk, created considerably another excitement everywhere in Cryptoverse again.
Musk is back from his fleeting Twitter break, and he tweeted a picture of an ascending rocket with just one word: ‘Doge‘.
The 14th cryptocurrency by market capitalization (per Coingecko), dogecoin (DOGE), is up 48.6% in the last 24 hours and a huge 344.9% in a week, at 7:57 UTC on Thursday morning.
“Occasionally I make jokes about dogecoin, but they really just meant to be jokes. Dogecoin was made as a joke to make fun of cryptocurrencies obviously,” Musk announced last week, continuing that “the most ironic outcome would be that dogecoin becomes the currency of the Earth.“
Meantime, Musk discarded the Bitcoin (BTC) symbol he had put in his Twitter bio a couple of days ago, which also grabbed the Cryptoverse’s attention.
This comes after Elon Musk’s company SpaceX launched its latest Starship prototype, which concluded in a blazing crash landing Tuesday, as The Guardian reported.
