One of the largest coin tracking websites in the industry, CoinMarketCap, has launched CoinMarketCap Earn. In a press release, the company said that it would allow users to earn cryptocurrency rewards for viewing educational content and completing quizzes.
The first crypto asset to be featured on the platform will be Band Protocol, with a total of $160,000 worth of BAND tokens eligible for distribution.
New Educational Platform launched by CoinMarketCap
CoinMarketCap, one of the first significant cryptocurrency tracking websites, has launched an educational platform meant for crypto beginners. In a press release, the corporation announced the launch of CoinMarketCap Earn. In this website, consumers can watch instructional videos about different cryptocurrency projects and complete quizzes to test their learning.
A new promotion will begin on CoinMarketCap Earn and emphasize a new cryptocurrency project every eight days. Through the length of the campaign, a particular amount of the highlighted project’s keepsakes will be equally dispersed to each qualified user who finishes the quiz, the company explained.
Consumers that would like to join in the educational Earn campaigns must have a CoinMarketCap account. The company emphasized that not all jurisdictions are presently maintained, which means some users might not be able to access the campaigns.

The primary educational campaign on CoinMarketCap Earn will focus on Band Protocol, a cross-chain data oracle supported by Sequoia Capital and Binance. Users will be able to learn about oracles, which the company assumes to be the blockchain industry’s critical structure.
