Fyooz, a social money platform, has bagged another high-profile music legend as an advisor. The manager for Grammy-nominated rapper Post Malone and rapper Tyga, Dre London, has agreed to be Fyooz’s advisor.
“With my vision, I hope to forge a new access asset class that can revolutionize the whole entertainment business. As awful as the pandemic has been, we have to find new innovative ways to engage our fans again,” commented London in a statement.
London, also known as Andre Jackson, is also a high profile person that will join after rapper Lil Yachty joined early this month. Lil Yachty clarified in a tweet that Fyooz had paid him for the partnership.
Fyooz hasn’t yet answered how Dre London will be compensated for the role and what it entails.
Fyooz is a platform that collects cryptocurrencies in the name of some musician, athlete, or influencer who joins its platform. Roll, its direct competitor, is a social money platform co-founded by analyst Bradley Miles.
London has found a prospect in Fyooz a new value from the music industry, which has been hit hard by the rise of streaming platforms, which pay artists a small cut of the profits, and the pandemic that canceled international tours.
