XRP can now be traded for Simoleons!

Ripple’s most massive investments are now taking shape.

In the year 2019, Ripple partnered with Blockchain Gaming platform Forte, creating a $100M fund dedicated to developing games that will utilize blockchain technology, Interledger Protocol and XRP, to power gaming economies and cross-chain interoperability.

Forte announced a series of new gaming partnerships, topping it is Gallium Studios, a new gaming company led by Will Wright, who designed the billion-dollar Sims franchise, including SimCity, SimEarth Sims Series.

Wright states that he’s looking forward to utilizing Forte’s technology to empower the gamers and offer new experiences.

“I’ve spent my career making games that let a player’s creativity be a part of their experience. Forte’s technology is adding to this idea by letting players create and own their content in our games.”

Lauren Elliott, the creator of the ‘Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?’ series, is the co-founder of Gallium Studios.

“Our partnership with Forte lets the community participate in the game economy through content they create and control. We’re focused on crafting gameplay and economic designs that are collaborative, so players can engage in original, relevant experiences, and be rewarded for their creativity.”

The new gaming studio has been created in November. The type of game that the company works on and the platform hasn’t been announced yet.

Forte also teamed up with Monster Ideas, Penrose, and GC Turbo and states that all of its partners will use its proprietary blockchain-based financial technology to create fresh community-focused revenue models and player experiences.
