Brandon Mintz of Bitcoin Depot has made a statement that blockchain can undoubtedly help to find a cure for Covid-19. This is in line with society’s adoption of technology.
Blockchain has been known for playing the role of helping pharmacies in the development of pharmaceutical drugs to fight Covid-19. It is said that blockchain technology can work with immense computational powers to help confirm transactions and generate new coins.
Mintz said that the significant benefit of blockchain could enhance security in the aspect of things. Adding adoption will also help contactless payments and purchases made online as crypto is on it’s way to top with regards to payment options.
The CEO also mentioned the computational power to help strengthen the Covid-19 related projects by the allocation of resources in blockchain-powered platforms.
Mintz said “Since COVID-19 hit worldwide, we’ve had to process more information online than ever before, and incorporating the added security that blockchain offers has been an enormous help in my eyes. I think developments like this are great. If there are resources available and it can potentially improve the project greatly – I think more institutions should look into expanding their own projects like this.”
He made clarifications that there may always be some fragmentation in the crypto community in finding ways to help to find a cure. A large portion of the community has already made alliances to create innovative ways to fight the virus.
