Shiba Inu coin on Robinhood
A recent Change.org petition for the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency coin is listed on Robinhood, a crypto trading app that allows people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.
- A Change.org representative told Newsweek that the petition had become the 10th largest petition on the website for May.
- A Change.org user named Tristan Luke made the petition. The aim was to collect at least 150,000 signatories. It has reached about 86,000 signatures, according to Newsweek.
Advocates have been pushing for Robinhood to list the Shiba Inu coin on its app, which would open the cryptocurrency to more people and possibly make its value rise, as per Yahoo! Finance.

Dangers of Robinhood, stock-trading apps
Legendary investor Warren Buffett remarked that stock-trading apps like Robinhood are similar to gambling at the beginning of May. He stated the apps make it easier to invest, investing in a gambling-like experience, CNBC reports.
Buffett announced during the time Robinhood app has “become a very substantial part of the casino perspective, the casino group of people, that has joined into the stock market in the last year or year and a half.”
Generally, Buffett stated there’s no issue using the apps, but it can’t be the only way to invest.
Buffet mentioned that,
There’s nothing unlawful about it, there’s nothing immoral, but I don’t think you’d build communities around people doing it. So the degree to which a vibrant community can award folks who now know how to benefit significantly from the gambling instincts of the American and the global public is not the most commendable part of the fulfillment.
